Restore. Repair. Rebuild.
Thermal spray welding is the process of weld buildup by spraying and fusing molten metal blasted onto a surface to repair worn areas. This results in creating a hard surface resistant to premature wearing and failure or a soft bearing surface for reciprocating weight bearing surfaces.
Examples for utilizing Thermal Spray Welding:
- repair worn shaft seal and bearing areas
- recondition damaged Babbit surfaces
- repair reciprocating compressor piston rods
